A visit to a classical concert is an indispensable part of every trip to Vienna. Why is that?
Classical music has its home in Vienna. The world’s greatest composers were either born here (Johann Strauss, Franz Schubert, Arnold Schönberg…) or wrote their most famous and best melodies in Vienna. Many premieres took place in Vienna. Some musical geniuses such as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Joseph Haydn, Johannes Brahms, Antonio Vivaldi and many more even died in Vienna.
Classical music is still inspirational for both the Viennese and tourists. The “Classic Ensemble Vienna” has taken up the task of continuing this tradition.
It was not a coincidence that our Motto “enjoyable journey through time” was chosen. We want to bring the feeling and the emotions of the best times of classical music to the visitors of our concerts.

The concerts of the “Classic Ensemble Vienna” are now an absolute highlight of every visit to Vienna. They are given regularly in St. Peter’s Church. We are particularly proud of our Easter and Christmas concerts, when the church is beautifully decorated.
